About Us
Staff Linker is provided to you by Community Information Support Services, a Not-for-Profit social enterprise established to support the health and well-being of Australians through providing high quality community information. Community Information Support Services supports My Community Directory and My Community Diary - the fastest growing online sources of health and community information Australia wide. Information on these platforms are held in the Community Information Exchange - a secure online database. Community Information Support Services is able to provide ongoing services through the support of Community Central.
Our vision
Our vision is to see the generation of better health and social outcomes across Australia by improved access to high quality community information. Our mission is to provide all Australians with access to the information they need to improve the health and wellness of their communities on a local, regional and national level.
Staff Linker
The health and wellbeing of staff has a huge impact on organisational productivity. As such, it is important for organisations to consider ways to improve staff wellbeing to reduce avoidable staff absence, increase staff engagement in their work, and lower staff turnover.
Providing the right information at the right time is one way to improve health outcomes, social inclusion and overall wellbeing. By linking in with the health and community information held in the Community Information Exchange, Staff Linker draws upon a large, growing community resource to:
1. Support staff wellbeing
We are concerned about the impact the "big 5" workplace issues (Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Domestic Violence. Depression and Anxiety and stress are having on workplace performance) and have developed a range of tools to support staff by providing access to community information and help where possible.
2. Connect Staff
Staff Linker can also support staff who relocate or existing to connect staff to community activities and opportunities.
3. Engage Staff
Staff Linker can also be used to help to attract and retain the best possible talent by providing ways to engage and provide opportunities in the Community Services Sector.
